Founded in 1985, Simply Angels is a 501.C3 non-profit dedicated to serving active-duty military members in crisis and homebound veterans who wish to remain in the homes they fought to protect. We are 100% volunteer-driven and provide services that assist veterans in improving their quality of life and safety.

About Simply Angels:
Home we Began
Simply Angels began more than 41 years ago when a small group of people came together to help a struggling veteran who had been humiliated and forced to expose every detail of his life just to receive assistance for a wheelchair ramp.
What started as neighbors helping a neighbor grew through visits to military hospitals, where we saw countless local veterans and families in need.
Over the years, we discovered that one of the most overlooked populations was homebound veterans – those facing illness, disability, isolation, unsafe living conditions, and a lack of advocacy. Many could not access the services they deserved simply because they could not leave their homes.
After COVID, our outreach expanded from serving 40 veterans to more than 300 across six counties, including spouses and dependents. In January 2024 we because a nonprofit so we could continue meeting the growing need.
At Simply Angels, every person is served as an individual, not as part of a program. Named by the veterans we serve, we remain committed to helping forgotten warriors with dignity, compassion, and honor.
